Day of the Holy Nut Ascencion, which occurs on February 12, long known to be the coldest day of the year. It's a holiday that began in 1932 as a marketing ploy by Planters and subsidized by the U.S. Government. At the height of the Great Depression, scores of children and elderly persons died due to malnutrition and... oh, never mind.
